What will happen once I have booked an assessment?
One of our fully qualified and insured assessors will arrive at your premises at the time and date you book. The assessor will request some fire safety documents that a fire safety enforcement officer would request. If you don’t have them to hand or you just don’t have them yet, relax. That is one of our responsibilities to assist you with.
After inspecting the documentation, the assessor will tour your premises. You can accompany the assessor or one of your staff. Feel free to ask any questions or raise any concerns.
You do not need to attend the assessment, you can appoint one of your staff to represent you (The Responsible Person). Our assessors will be comfortable with either, the choice is yours.
Once the assessor has toured your premises, there will be an opportunity for you to discuss their findings. As a result of the assessment, some rectification points and significant findings may be identified. The assessor will verbally communicate these to you. Once you are happy the assessor will leave and prepare the report for you. The report will be delivered within an agreed time to you as a physical document.
