This course will introduce you to fire safety within the workplace.
You will learn about fire hazards and how to control them.
Learn how a fire behaves and spreads and how to control fire.
Discover the fire triangle and how you can use this to prevent fires at work, or if the worst should happen how to fight a fire.
Learn fire prevention information and how some quick and easy measures can be taken to prevent a fire at your work premises.
Learn about fire extinguishers and how to use them.
Learn fire safety procedures and the law around fire safety in the workplace.
The final part of the course looks at the role of a fire marshal / warden in the workplace and how they can conduct basic fire safety checks.
The course is assessed by a 10 question assessment with a pass grade of 80%.
